240g premium borosilicate glass vessel. Handcrafted in small batches, Haute-Savoie. Self trimming cotton wick. Burn time approximately 55 hours. We recommend at least a one hour first burn.

A NOTE FROM THE PERFUMER

The petite is glass, not ceramic, and that changes the burn before the fragrance is even considered. Glass takes heat on and gives it back, so the melt pool warms faster and runs a little hotter than in the 640g ceramic - which, for a leather composition, turns out to be useful. The cistus and benzoin loosen more readily, and the whole thing reaches its heart sooner: you are smelling leather and iris within twenty minutes rather than forty. The trade is longevity. This is a candle for an evening, not for a season. Put it somewhere you will be sitting close to it: the sandalwood and dry woods at the base are lower and quieter here, and they reward proximity.
