240g premium borosilicate glass vessel. Handcrafted in small batches, Haute-Savoie. Self trimming cotton wick. Burn time approximately 55 hours. We recommend at least a one hour first burn.

A NOTE FROM THE PERFUMER

Spice needs watching in a small candle. Cinnamon and clove are among the most assertive materials in perfumery, and a 240g vessel in a study can go from atmospheric to overpowering inside half an hour. So we treat this format differently in use rather than in formula: burn it for one hour, not three. That is long enough for the elemi to open and the cedarwood and sandalwood to establish themselves, and short enough that the benzoin and tonka bean never get the chance to become cloying. The clary sage at the base is the thing to wait for. It is herbal, faintly bitter, and only shows up once everything else has settled.
