640g ceramic vessel. Handcrafted in small batches in the Haute-Savoie. All perfumes produced in Grasse. Burn time approximately 90 hours. We recommend 2 hours for the first burn, trim wicks to between 5mm-10mm.

A NOTE FROM THE PERFUMER

White florals go wrong in one of two ways: they turn to soap, or they turn to syrup. The defence against both is to put something sharp in front of them, which is why this opens on blackcurrant - green, almost sour, with pink pepper and bergamot around it. By the time the jasmine and orange blossom arrive at the heart, the nose has already understood that this will not be a sweet candle. Amyris slips in among the flowers doing quiet woody work, and the base is deliberately heavier than a floral is usually allowed: sandalwood, cedarwood, gaiac and patchouli, the gaiac bringing a faint smokiness underneath. It is the most complicated thing we make. It also took the longest to sign off.
