640g ceramic vessel. Handcrafted in small batches in the Haute-Savoie. All perfumes produced in Grasse. Burn time approximately 90 hours. We recommend 2 hours for the first burn, trim wicks to between 5mm-10mm.

A NOTE FROM THE PERFUMER

Cinnamon and cloves are dangerous in a candle. Heat exaggerates them, and a heavy hand turns any room into December. We did not want a Christmas candle; we wanted a church. Elemi is what keeps it out of that territory - a resin with a lemon-and-pine edge that cuts across the spice and makes it read as incense rather than baking. Beneath it, cedarwood and sandalwood do the structural work, with cashmeran giving the woods a faintly musky bloom as they warm. The base is the part we are proudest of: benzoin from Sumatra, clary sage and tonka bean, which together have a soft, almost tobacco-like sweetness that arrives late and stays after the flame is out. Burn it in the evening, in a cold room.
